As a treasure of Chinese civilization, traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）is an important part of Chinese traditional culture and a traditional science still playing an important role today. The "Construction Guide of TCM Culture in TCM Hospitals" points out that "TCM culture is an important part of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, the spiritual wealth and material wealth in the development process of TCM, the thought and method system of the Chinese nation to recognize life, maintain health and prevent disease for thousands of years, and the internal spiritual and ideological basis of TCM services".

With people's attention to health preservation, traditional Chinese medicine health preservation is more and more popular. In order to let children experience the traditional culture of TCM, improve children's awareness of health preservation of TCM, and increase the awareness of health care of TCM, Chunmiao Bookstore organized 10 children to carry out the social practice activities of "I am a little doctor of TCM" in Chenzhou Municipal Hospital Of TCM on November 2.

The medical staff carefully introduced the principles of acupuncture, moxibustion and fire dragon moxibustion to the children to help them understand the herbs in the treatment. The children all listened with interest and had a preliminary understanding of various treatment methods in Acupuncture Department.

 During the activities, in addition to watching various treatment methods in the acupuncture room, the children also learned the relevant skills of massage under the guidance of doctors, and experienced the daily treatment methods of TCM. They also visited the TCM room and the cost of decoction, and learned and understood some common knowledge of TCM, the decoction methods and precautions of TCM decoction, etc.

This experience camp successfully combined the spirit of traditional Chinese medicine culture into the campus, and used vivid, lively and diverse forms such as educational thinking and practice of teaching in fun to cultivate primary school students' interest in TCM and popularize the knowledge of TCM in life.
