On November 6, Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Mmunicipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, investigated the construction of the innovation demonstration zone of the national sustainable development agenda in Zixing City. Yi Pengfei stressed that Zixing City should focus on the Dongjiang Lake, explore the experience and mode of sustainable utilization of water resources and green development, make substantive breakthroughs and achievements in the construction of the demonstration area, and make a demonstration for the city to promote the construction of the national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone.

At the construction site of Yixin technology project in Dongjiang Big Data Industrial Park, Yi Pengfei stressed that we should pay attention to the benefits in the industry, and the development prospect of big data industry; should combine the situation of investment attraction and avoid the blind construction of standard factory buildings, resulting in vacancy and waste.

Yi Pengfei also investigated the cold and hot water supply project of South Hospital of Zixing Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xingning town sewage treatment plant, Xingning River estuary wetland, water ecological environment protection and water resource utilization projects of Gurun Technology.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that Zixing City is the earliest National Sustainable Development Experimental Zone in our province. For a long time, Zixing City has focused on Dongjiang Lake water environment protection and efficient utilization of water resources, and has a good foundation for building a national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone. We must keep the bottom line of protecting Dongjiang Lake, maintain the image of Dongjiang Lake as an ecological brand, and never have any negative impact on the environment. As a typical representative of "sustainable utilization and green development of water resources", Zixing City can fully show the effect of the construction of national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone only when the water resources, water environment and water ecology of Dongjiang Lake are well protected, managed, utilized and developed. In order to strengthen the renovation and arrangement of the surrounding environment of the Dongjiang River and the strict approval and scientific planning of the houses built by the villagers in the tourist concentration area, the environmental protection department must strengthen the monitoring and management of the surrounding environment to ensure that the emission is up to the standard.

Yi Pengfei stressed that the task of comprehensive water control and protection in Zixing is still very heavy, but with great development potential.
