Recently, Peng Shengzhi, Secretary of the County Party Committee, led the heads of the county's housing, construction, commerce, natural resources and other departments to investigate the furniture industry in Nankang District, Jiangxi Province.
In Nankang, Jiangxi Province, Peng Shengzhi visited Ganzhou international land port, Boshi Home Furnishings, National Furniture Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Jiangxi), Furniture World and Home Furnishing Town, and learned advanced experience and practices in industrial planning and construction, operation management, investment attraction, administrative licensing, etc.
Nankang District is one of the districts of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, known as the hometown of Sweet Pomelo and the capital of solid wood furniture. In recent years, it has formed leading industries such as furniture, minerals, clothing, electronics, etc. At present, Nankang is the largest solid wood furniture manufacturing base in China. The output value of furniture industry cluster reached 102 billion yuan in 2016. There are more than 7500 furniture enterprises, more than 400000 employees and 180000 square meters of professional furniture market in the whole district.
According to the investigation, Peng Shengzhi believed that Nankang District has made great efforts in supporting the development of furniture industry in terms of policy support, project land use, industry guidance, etc., and has formed obvious industrial cluster effect through standardized layout. He hoped that the two counties and districts will further strengthen communication and exchange, enhance cooperation intention, and turn good experience and practice into the driving force to promote the scientific development of smart home industry park in Guiyang County, to provide reliable guarantee for the realization of high-quality development.
