Military Local Health Emergency Joint Training Held

From November 10 to 13, Chenzhou City held the joint training exercise of military and local health emergency in 2019. The activity was co-sponsored by the Municipal Health Committee and the armed police, and organized by the municipal CDC, the First People's Hospital, the Second People's Hospital, the Beihu District Health Bureau, the Beihu District Disease Control Center and other units.

This activity was divided into two parts: training and drill, covering queue training, emergency response, personal protection, cardiopulmonary resuscitation operation, on-site disposal of public health emergencies, dengue epidemic prevention and control drill, etc., aiming to improve the joint military and local emergency response mechanism for infectious diseases, improve the business skills and emergency response capabilities of military and local health emergency teams, and strive to build a health emergency team with firm politics, excellent business, quick response and strict discipline. November 10 to 12 was the centralized military training and theoretical training. 19 municipal health emergency teams and 11 county and urban health emergency management personnel were trained in accordance with the requirements of militarization, observed strict discipline, obeyed the command, carried forward the style, trained assiduously, made every effort to achieve actual results and accomplished all tasks excellently.

On November 13, dengue fever emergency response drill was jointly carried out by military and locality. The drill was mainly based on the simulation of dengue epidemic in the army as the background. Through the joint military and local emergency response, the drill tested whether the local medical system kept the green passage of the army unblocked and whether the on-site treatment was standardized, timely and effective in case of emergency in the army. The drill focused on 10 scenes including dengue case discovery report and transfer, on-site investigation and disposal, hospital isolation treatment, information report, emergency response, mosquito vector monitoring, anti mosquito environmental remediation, risk assessment, etc. the whole drill was closely coordinated and orderly. Zhu Yimin, Deputy Director of the Provincial Health Commission, Yin Minli, Director of the Security Department of Hunan Provincial Armed Police Corps, and Ouyang Jianhua, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Chenzhou Municipal People's Congress attended the opening ceremony and watched the whole exercise. Zhu Yimin and Yin Minli fully affirmed the exercise activities, and hoped that Chenzhou City would continue to expand the depth and breadth of civil military integration, innovate methods and means, and constantly improve the comprehensive handling ability and rapid response ability of the emergency response team.

 

It was understood that Chenzhou Health Commission and armed police forces have creatively established a coordination mechanism for medical support between the military and the local government, and jointly conducted drills every year. The two sides have carried out fruitful cooperation in coordination and linkage, information communication, technical cooperation, training exchange and joint disposal. The backbone of the military and local health emergency response carried out interactive exchanges, refined the troops and strengthened cooperation, so as to further improve the emergency response ability and health service support level of the military and local cooperation in handling health emergencies, forming a good situation of mutual benefit and win-win situation. Chenzhou military local health emergency cooperation mode has been fully affirmed by the Provincial Health Commission and the Provincial Armed Police Corps, and has been popularized in the whole province.
