Over the past few days, the supervision team of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration has made a spot check on the protection and management of forest resources in Yongxing County, and gave feedback on the supervision on November 12. Liu Chaohui, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Head of the County attended the feedback meeting.

At the meeting, Cai Yi, head of the supervision group of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, highly affirmed the achievements and accumulated experience and practices in forest resource management in Yongxing County, and put forward rectification requirements and suggestions on how to do well in the next stage of forest resource supervision and in the construction of the target responsibility system for the protection and development of forests.

The inspection team requested that we should thoroughly implement the concept of green development of General Secretary Xi Jinping, increase the protection of woodland resources, examine and approve the occupation of forestland according to law, correctly handle the relationship between the development and protection of forest resources, and increase the intensity of forestry reform and development.

After listening to the feedback from the supervision group, Liu Chaohui, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Head, said that the feedback meeting was not only a training meeting for the construction of ecological civilization, but also a propaganda meeting for the policy of ecological civilization, and also a supervision meeting for the protection and development of forest resources. For the problems pointed out by the supervision group, Yongxing County will accept the criticism and suggestions with modesty and pay close attention to propaganda and mobilization, organization and leadership, supervision and examination, afforestation and forest protection, long-term mechanism construction and other work, so as to further promote the protection and management of forest resources in Yongxing County to a new level.
