On November 20, the founding conference of Chenzhou Tourism and Homestay Association was held. Zhong Benqiang, former Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and Chairman of the Municipal Tourism and Cultural Industry Promotion Association, announced the establishment and licensing of Chenzhou Tourism and Homestay Association. Gao Aiguo, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and Executive Deputy Group Leader of the coordination and promotion group for the economic development and construction of quality homestay, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

In 2018, the city has built and operated 67 tourist quality homestays (including resorts, rural boutique inns, etc.), receiving 216,000 tourists in total and realizing a tourism comprehensive income of 287 million yuan. The homestay industry is becoming a new bright spot and hot spot for the economic development of the city's cultural and tourism industry.

Gao Aiguo said that the association should be a good leader in the development of the industry, strengthen the self construction of the association, guide the members of the association to communicate with each other, form complementary advantages, enhance the concept of being a cluster of accommodation, and realize the development of the group; should be a good supervisor of the standardized operation of the industry, actively explore and formulate all kinds of industry standards suitable for the actual operation and development of Chenzhou homestay, guide all the residents to standardize the operation, set up the industry benchmark for the standardized operation of our city's homestay industry, and comprehensively improve the quality of Chenzhou homestay; should be good defenders of the interests of the members of the association, share resources and information, resolutely avoid vicious competition in the industry, strive to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and work together to build the quality homestay with Chenzhou characteristics.
