Recently, the CPPCC municipal committee held a work meeting to plan and deploy the next work. Li Ping, Party Secretary and Chairman of the CPPCC municipal committee, presided over the meeting and made a speech.

At the meeting, specific opinions and suggestions were put forward around the topic selection of the speech at the 4th session of the 5th CPPCC municipal committee. The topics of investigation, consultation, proposal and supervision in 2020 were discussed, and the next key work of the CPPCC municipal committee was studied and deployed.

The meeting requested that we should carefully study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the working conference of the CPPCC Central Committee, so as to improve the quality and efficiency of CPPCC work in the new era; should conscientiously summarize, rethink and study, strengthen the reporting link with the CPPCC National Committee and CPPCC Provincial Committee, and further clarify various working ideas; should constantly explore and improve new measures in improving the level of democratic consultation, promoting the handling of proposals, improving quality and efficiency, and promoting the comprehensive application of performance results; should strengthen liaison and friendship work, do a good job in training members, and further play the important role of democratic parties and the Federation of Industry and Commerce in the work of the CPPCC.
