Recently, it was learned that Rucheng No.1 Middle School was awarded the honorary title of "2019 Reserving Student School" by Tsinghua University, becoming the only provincial model high school in Chenzhou city that has won the honorary title for four consecutive years.

It was reported that in the past four years, Rucheng No.1 Middle School l has twice won the title of "Excellent School" in Chenzhou City, 7 people have won the "outstanding contribution award for education" in Chenzhou City, 8 people have won the "outstanding contribution award for education" in Rucheng County, and has also been awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Reserving Student School" by more than ten domestic famous universities, such as Central South University and Hunan University.

 
Since 2016, the school has had four consecutive years of students admitted to famous universities, including 5 students admitted to Tsinghua University, 1 student admitted to Peking University, more than 120 admitted to 985 double first-class universities, and more than 200 admitted to 211 universities. Among them, Zhu Yunfei won the first prize in Science in Chenzhou City in 2016 with 689 points, ranking 15th in the province.
