On the afternoon of December 13, the founding conference of Science and Technology Association of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone and the first representative conference were successfully held.

Zhou Xianbin, Chairman of Chenzhou Association for Science and Technology, awarded the license to the Science and Technology Association of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone, and said that the newly established association should adhere to the tenet of "three services", serve the scientific and technological workers in the park, serve the development of the park, serve the improvement of the scientific and technological cultural quality of the employees in the park, and constantly promote the development of the park; should strengthen the organization construction of the association, consciously accept the Party committee and administrative leadership, actively carry out work to expand influence, and establish sound working systems; should actively carry out the competition activity of "emphasizing ideals and comparing contributions", cultivate innovative fashion among the scientific and technological personnel of enterprises, advocate innovative spirit and promote the scientific and technological progress of enterprises.

Jin Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone, delivered a speech at the meeting. He pointed out that thirty years after the establishment of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone is a history of developing the zone through science and technology and creating the zone through innovation, citing the great progress made in science and technology innovation in the park. Jin Wei also put forward three requirements for the newly established Science and Technology Association of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone: first, we should do a good job in the work in the park, strengthen the thinking of science and technology workers and members as the center, make more efforts in service, and unite a broader scientific and technological innovation force; second, the leading group of the association should strengthen its own construction, rapidly improve its business capacity, carry out extensive and in-depth activities, and show the strong vitality and appeal of the association; third, all units in the park should attach importance to and support the work of the association, create conditions and optimize the environment within their capabilities, and help the association to carry out its work.

The leading group of Association for Science and Technology was elected at the first representative conference of the Science and Technology Association of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone, which is composed of 7 members, 5 of whom are from enterprises in the park.
