On the afternoon of December 12, Chenzhou Technician College and Hunan Water Development Co., Ltd. signed a framework agreement on water conservation cooperation projects in colleges and universities, marking the new progress of water conservation in Chenzhou City. Chenzhou Technician College is the first contract water conservation management pilot university in the province.

Chenzhou Technician College is located in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, which is famous for its outstanding people and beautiful scenery. It is close to Suxianling in the north and Chenjiang River in the south. It is a full-time public vocational college approved by the provincial government, a national key technical college, national advanced vocational education unit and national high skilled personnel training base. It has won the honorary titles of national advanced unit of vocational education, national advanced unit of rural youth transfer and employment, and advanced unit of enrollment and employment of technical colleges in Hunan Province. Hunan Water Development Co., Ltd. will integrate advanced practical technology and water-saving products to carry out water terminal sanitary ware transformation, water supply pipe network optimization and transformation, water supply district intelligent construction, etc. in Chenzhou Technician College, and strive to build Chenzhou Technician College into a water-saving university demonstration.

In order to carry out the policy of "water saving priority, space balance, system management and two hands efforts" in the new period of water control, according to the requirements of the State Council, the provincial government and the municipal government on the implementation of the strictest water resources management system, the Chenzhou Water Conservancy Bureau and Chenzhou Municipal Organ Affairs Administration issued the "Notice on the construction of municipal water-saving public institutions in 2019". In the notice, 16 units, including Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Chenzhou Municipal People's Government, Chenzhou Water Conservancy Bureau, Chenzhou City Administration and Chenzhou Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, were selected as key participants to promote the construction of water-saving units and give full play to the demonstration and leading role of public institutions.
