On the morning of December 14, the 2019 Chinese government website performance evaluation results release conference and the 2019 Tsinghua University National Governance Institute Annual Conference "the age proposition of national governance modernization" forum were held in Beijing. More than 200 representatives from the websites of national ministries and municipal governments attended the meeting. At the meeting, the performance evaluation results of Chinese government websites in 2019 were released. Chenzhou Municipal government portal website ranked the third among 298 prefecture level government websites in China, ranking the first among 13 cities and prefectures in the province (Changsha City was included in the capital city sequence for evaluation).
In 2019, the performance evaluation of Chinese government websites was organized and implemented by the National Governance Research Institute of Tsinghua University and the school of public management. According to the requirements of relevant documents, the relevant departments, in combination with the state's overall promotion of government affairs publicity and acceleration of the work deployment of "Internet + government services", obtain evaluation data on the indicators of information publicity, policy interpretation, online services, interactive communication, display logo, supervision and management, and dissemination application of government websites at all levels in 2019 by means of manual browsing information, simulated user access, automatic tool monitoring, etc. The scope of performance evaluation includes 53 national ministries and commissions, 4 municipalities directly under the central government, 28 provinces (autonomous regions, corps), 32 sub provincial and provincial capitals, 298 prefecture and city levels, and 261 district and county government portals, totaling 676.
In recent years, Chenzhou Municipal Government's portal website has taken many measures to standardize management, improve system and mechanism, intensively build, strengthen resource integration, platform accommodation, enhance user experience, etc., and vigorously strengthened government information publicity, broadened channels for interaction between government and people, innovated service methods, and strengthened assessment and evaluation system. The construction and management of government websites have achieved good results, and people's satisfaction and sense of gain have been continuously improved.
