On December 12, the network information office of Zixing municipal Party Committee convened the Municipal Education Bureau, the Communist Youth League Municipal Committee, the Municipal Media Convergence Center, the Municipal Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee and other units to discuss how to further improve the network literacy education of young people.

The participants reviewed the youth network literacy education in 2019 in Zixing City, planned the youth network literacy education in 2020, and discussed how to further improve the youth network literacy education in 2020. It was believed that we should always adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, thoroughly implement the important thought of general secretary Xi Jinping's network powerful nation, continuously strengthen the education of network civilization and network security for teenagers, integrate the core socialist values into their network life, and guide them to become practitioners, participants and construction of network civilization, so as to gradually improve the network literacy of teenagers in Zixing City. In the next stage, Zixing City will set up a network literacy education publicity team with primary and secondary school teachers, experts and scholars, "five elders" volunteers and network information workers as members, actively carry out the network knowledge and network laws and regulations publicity, promote the network knowledge into the classroom, and improve the network literacy of young people.

At the same time, through the continuous development of calligraphy, painting, sports, music, legal education, thematic class meeting and team and other special activities among teenagers, replacing the "screen time" and gradually improving the network literacy of teenagers. It was planned to establish a number of "youth network literacy education bases" in the city in the next two years, and one or two "youth network literacy education bases" demonstration sites in the city in 2020, with the base school as the core and the demonstration point as the leading point, making use of the advantages of the base and the leading school in software and hardware, starting from the youth group, radiating to parents and the community, so as to create a positive and healthy network culture atmosphere in the city, and improve the network literacy level of teenagers in Zixing City.
