Recently, the Provincial Department of Ecological Environment and the Provincial Department of Finance organized an expert acceptance team to carry out inspection and acceptance of the promotion project of comprehensive improvement of rural environment in Zixing City.

The acceptance team randomly inspected 6 townships (streets) and 10 administrative villages in the city, and comprehensively inspected the completion of the "five major remediation" work, such as rural domestic sewage treatment, domestic waste treatment, comprehensive utilization of livestock and poultry breeding manure, drinking water source protection, and treatment of industrial and mineral pollution left over from history, by means of data review, household interview and on-site exploration. After inspection and acceptance, the expert group gave full affirmation to the comprehensive improvement of rural environment in Zixing City, determined that all indicators met the provincial acceptance standards, and agreed to pass the acceptance.

Since 2014, Zixing City has attached great importance to the comprehensive improvement of rural environment, actively raised funds, and promoted the implementation in 183 administrative villages of the city according to local conditions. Up to now, through the integration of the central special fund for Dongjiang Lake protection and the ADB loan fund totaling about 250 million yuan, they have vigorously implemented the "five major remediation" project and made remarkable achievements in promoting the comprehensive remediation of rural environment.
