Recently, Peng Qiming, President of China Mining Association, led an investigation team to Chenzhou to discuss cooperation matters of the China (Hunan) International Mineral& GEM Expo (CMGE). Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presided over the symposium on negotiation and cooperation.

At the symposium, the investigation team listened to the introduction of the CMGE and conducted extensive exchanges and in-depth discussions on cooperation matters. In recent years, our city has actively explored and implemented the exhibition operation mechanism of "Government Leading, Association Sponsoring, Enterprise Undertaking, Entity Supporting". In accordance with the requirements of the leading group of national clean-up and standardized celebration forum activities and the special rectification work of "never forget your original mind and keep your mission in mind" theme education, from the 8th CMGE, one or two national industry associations will be the organizers. Through reform and transformation, the level of marketization, specialization and internationalization of the Expo will be improved, and the brand influence of the Expo will be maintained and expanded.

 Peng Qiming said that Chenzhou is rich in non-ferrous metal mineral resources and has a long history of mineral development. The successful holding of the CMGE in Chenzhou has foundation and potential, which is conducive to promoting the economic and social development of Chenzhou. China Mining Association will actively participate in relevant work as the organizer of the 8th Expo, hoping to strengthen cooperation with Chenzhou, play the role of blockchain, adhere to market-oriented operation, and jointly make the CMGE a world-famous event.

 Liu Zhiren, presiding over the symposium, said that on the basis of mutual trust and mutual benefit, we should deepen sincere cooperation, make innovations in running the summit forum, do a good job in attracting investment, do a good job in theme activities, strive to build a cultural brand of Chenzhou Mining Association, and use the "gold medal" exhibition to help Chenzhou's economic and social development with high quality.

 During the investigation in Chenzhou, the delegation also visited the World Nonferrous Metals Museum and Chenzhou International Mineral Gem Museum of the City Sports Center, to learn about the development of mineral gem industry in Chenzhou.

Municipal leaders Xu Huaihao and Zhou Hailin, and Xu Licheng, former Vice Chairman of Municipal CPPCC and Chairman of Chenzhou Mining Association, attended the symposium.
