On January 7, it was learned from the Science and Technology Department of Hunan Province that in 2019, 177 technology contracts were registered in our city, with a turnover of 700 million yuan, an increase of 282.67 percent; and a total turnover of 860 million yuan, an increase of 328.5 percent. Both growth rates rank first in the province.

In 2019, focusing on the construction of innovation demonstration zone of national sustainable development agenda, Chenzhou City vigorously implemented the innovation driven strategy and actively opened up the channels for achievements transformation. The Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government issued the "Opinions on promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the pilot test", which actively solved the problems in promoting the achievements in the pilot test; further deepened the cooperation with Central South University and Hunan University, and helped the city's science and technology enterprises and universities to jointly organize and implement the project of combining production, teaching and research; increased the cultivation of scientific and technological innovation subjects. By the end of 2019, the city's high-tech enterprises are expected to break through 200 and become the main force of technology trading. They focused on the demand side of technology and the supply side of scientific and technological achievements, vigorously carried out publicity and training, actively implemented policy support, launched county and city organizations, enterprises and institutions to apply, and guided all parties to carry out technological development and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Compared with 2018, the turnover of technical contracts in all counties and cities has increased significantly. The top three target task completion rates are Zixing City, Yongxing County and Beihu District, among which Zixing City and Yongxing County exceeded 100 million yuan. The turnover of technical contracts in colleges and universities also increased by a large margin. The turnover of technical contracts in Xiangnan University exceeded 100 million yuan.
