Recently, Hunan Provincial Forestry Bureau issued the "Notice on assessment results of quality management of state owned forest farms and forest parks in 2019", and Swan Mountain National Forest Park was rated as the "Top 10 Forest Parks" in the province.

From October 15 to December 10, 2019, Hunan Provincial Forestry Bureau organized and carried out the quality management evaluation of state-owned forest farms and forest parks in the whole province through three stages of forest farm and park self-assessment, city and state assessment and entrusted provincial third party assessment. A total of 12 forest parks were evaluated as top 10 management units.

In 2019, the Management Office of Swan Mountain National Forest Park focused on resource protection, industrial transformation, park construction, tourism development, etc., planned and launched the Swan River dam (landscape) project, invested 186,000 yuan, expanded the 12 mu characteristic industrial orchard, started the landscape improvement and transformation project, planted 18 mu Dahlia, carnation, beautiful cherry and other flowers, restored 1.5km of the road near the lake, and built1.5km flower wall of Rosa banksiae; implemented the forest quality improvement project, improved the forest structure of more than 2000 mu of forest land, completed the 2781 mu forest quality improvement and efficiency improvement project, continued to implement the construction of national fir improved seed base, and planted 36.6 mu of second generation fir; carried out special investigation and remediation actions such as "Green Shield in 2019" natural reserve verification, natural reserve environmental problem verification, etc., and further increased the publicity, investigation and punishment of forestry laws and regulations to effectively protect forest resources and maintain forest ecological security.
