On February 17th, Zhang Runhuai, Novel coronavirus pneumonia prevention and control team leader , County Magistrate, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee, and leader of the novel coronavirus pneumonia prevention and control team, investigated and directed the construction of the Mangshan Reservoir Project and the integrated urban and rural water supply project.

Zhang Runhuai successively came to the resettlement site of Mangshan Duiliaochong, the resettlement site of Liu's family immigrants, the tractor road around the Mangshan reservoir, the head of the right main canal, the diversion dam, the main dam and the auxiliary dam, the water supply intake and the power station of Mangshan reservoir. He inspected the project and the construction of the project on the spot, presided over the symposium and listened to the relevant reports.

So far, the gate of the main dam of the Mangshan reservoir project has been installed and commissioned to meet the water storage requirements under the normal water level of 395m elevation; the relocation (including transitional relocation) of the Mangshan reservoir has been completed in an all-round way, with a total of 288 households and 1252 people.

Zhang Runhuai, on behalf of the county Party committee and the county government, expressed condolences to all the staff of the Mangshan reservoir project and highly affirmed the great contributions made by the builders of the Mangshan reservoir over the years.

Zhang Runhuai required that the related personnel should attach great importance to the prevention and control of the current epidemic situation, strengthen publicity, focus on the key points, formulate emergency plans, strictly implement various prevention and control measures, and adhere to the principle of "one hand is to prevent and control the epidemic, the other hand is to resume production"; should effectively speed up the work progress of the resettlement project, focus on solving the remaining problems of the reservoir, and earnestly focus on the construction of the integrated urban and rural water supply project.
