Recently, Guiyang County Legal Aid Center was awarded the "National Advanced Legal Aid Collective", which was another honor after being awarded as the "advanced unit in the criminal case quality assessment" by the Department of Justice of Hunan Province last year.

In recent years, Guiyang County Legal Aid Center has seriously organized and implemented the Regulations on Legal Aid, and actively provided high-quality, efficient and convenient legal aid services for vulnerable groups, which has been praised and recognized by all sectors of society.

It was reported that in order to fully reflect the high attention of the Party and the government to the legal aid work and the concern for the vulnerable groups, Guiyang County has considered "providing legal aid for the needy" as one of the county government's practical project for the people's livelihood.

In order to ensure the quality and quantity of the private practical project, and comprehensively improve the quality of legal aid in serving the people's livelihood, the County Judicial Bureau has provided timely and efficient legal aid to the people in financial difficulties and migrant workers, and made due contributions to the construction of safe through reducing the threshold of legal aid, expanding the scope of legal aid, strengthening the standardized construction of legal aid institutions, and striving to improve the service capacity and level of legal aid.

In 2019, a total of 429 cases of legal aid were handled, including 208 criminal cases, 219 civil cases and 2 administrative cases. The total amount of loss recovery or benefits obtained for the masses was nearly 13.5 million yuan.
