Special Fruits Planted in Suxian District

On February 25, many fruit farmers were busy on the ridge of the field in Matouling Village, Suxian District, next to national highway 107.

 

In recent years, Matouling Village in Suxian District, under the guidance of Agriculture and Forestry Departments, has planted thousands of acres of high value-added special fruits with the help of convenient transportation and fertile land. There are sweet off-season American oranges coming out in April, sunshine rose grapes, pitaya from Taiwan, and mulberry fruits from Xinjiang that can delay aging. In recent years, more than 100 mu of figs and kiwifruit have been planted, and Xinjiang ami melon has also been planted in the greenhouse of Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute.
