On March 1, a teleconference of Chenzhou national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone construction leading group was held. Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor attended the meeting. 

On May 6, 2019, the State Council officially approved the construction of Chenzhou national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone. The municipal Party committee and the municipal government, centering on the theme of "sustainable utilization of water resources and green development", made solid progress in the construction of the demonstration zone, and basically achieved the goals.

2020 is the year when the construction of the demonstration zone is a breakthrough. Our city will take the Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics as its guide, and implement the general requirements of "protect water to create brand, manage water to improve image, use water for benefit, change concept of water saving, strengthen support of science and technology". In accordance with the general goal of "one year of momentum, two years of breakthrough and three years of breakthrough", we will carry out various tasks and form a solid work to form a typical experience of "having prospects".
