On March 9, the research team of the Ecological Restoration Office of the Department of Natural Resources of Hunan Province came to Guidong County to investigate the pilot application of comprehensive land improvement. County leader Guo Yuanfei accompanied the investigation. 

The research team came to the implementation area of the comprehensive land improvement in Zhaiqian Town, and inspected the projects such as the improvement and transformation of cultivated land quality,  the development of suitable cultivated reserve resources, the improvement of rural construction land and industrial and mining land, and the rural ecological protection and restoration, and investigated the planning and construction, land use guarantee, ecological restoration and industrial development of the project in detail.

After hearing the report on the work of Guidong County, the research team pointed out that carrying out the comprehensive land improvement work in the whole area is an important means to carry out Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, implement the strategy of rural revitalization and realize the fine management of natural resources. We should earnestly understand the policies, actively plan and attach great importance to the pilot application work, and establish a working mechanism of government leadership, overall coordination and coordinated promotion; strengthen planning guidance, adhere to the principle of "planning first, multiple compliance and integration", and work out land space planning in line with the wishes of the masses, the reality of the countryside and the development prospect; should strengthen capital guarantee, strengthen policy guidance, give full play to the supporting role of policies such as the balance of cultivated land occupation and compensation, the linkage of increase and decrease, and the reasonable adjustment of basic farmland protection and industrial integration development in the comprehensive land improvement of the whole area.
