On the afternoon of March 13, Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City, presided over the meeting of the leading group of the city's transportation work. The meeting requested that we should adhere to the principle of taking transportation as a basic and leading industry, work hard to build a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation system, and accelerate the high-quality development of transportation in Chenzhou.

The meeting listened to the report on the transportation work of the whole city; studied and discussed the "work plan for the key year of transportation projects in 2020" and the "implementation plan for the establishment of urban and rural transportation integration demonstration city in 2020"; studied and reviewed the evaluation results of transportation development goal management and "four good rural roads" construction in 2019.

The meeting pointed out that we should strengthen the awareness of opportunities and problem orientation, and earnestly shoulder the new responsibilities of transportation. On the one hand, we should seize the historical opportunity period with great potential, especially the historical opportunity to build a strong transportation country, the major opportunity to implement national and provincial strategies, and the policy opportunity to stabilize investment and steady growth; on the other hand, we should strive to develop the huge potential of the city's transportation construction to make up the shortcomings, further improve the pattern of great connectivity, optimize road traffic and management, and optimize and improve the road network structure and traffic management.

The meeting required that we should speed up the new upsurge of traffic construction based on the external smooth connection and internal promotion of circulation; should vigorously promote the construction of major transportation projects, strive to optimize the rapid trunk transportation network, accelerate the improvement of rural transportation infrastructure, and effectively guarantee the smooth transportation of transportation and logistics; should always adhere to the project as the starting point, seize the opportunity in the new round of large-scale investment of accelerating transportation construction in China and provinces, and further improve the transportation framework and urban and rural areas around the construction of a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation system, and optimize the traffic pattern of great connectivity to the outside world and great circulation to the inside; should attach equal importance to both construction and management, support and transport, and strive to improve the new capacity of traffic management; should promote the institutionalization of road maintenance, standardization of transportation management, normalization of road governance and integration of urban and rural passenger transport; should strengthen organization and leadership, coordination and cooperation, work innovation, supervision and assessment, and work together to build a new pattern of transportation.
