On April 8, our city held a discussion with China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. to conduct in-depth exchanges on the issues that need to be solved through coordination between the two sides. Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Wu Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. attended the discussion.

At the symposium, the two sides held consultations on issues related to railway safety, matters related to railway land use and certification of municipal level projects, and establishment and improvement of "road land" linkage and joint defense mechanism.

Yi Pengfei said that the two sides should unify their thoughts to the General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on safety production and high quality development, should strengthen the sense of responsibility for ensuring safety, maintaining order and promoting development in accordance with the General Secretary Xi Jinping's requirement of "putting people's life safety and health in the first place", and resolutely request General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of instructions to implement; should further work together and cooperate efficiently to achieve safe and high-quality development, accelerate the establishment and improvement of rapid information connection and response mechanisms, and integrate railway safety into the overall management of local security; actively cooperate with the railway department to conduct a comprehensive and detailed investigation of potential safety hazards along the railway line in Chenzhou, and work together to come up with remediation plans to ensure the safety of railway transportation; strengthen the on-site management of emergencies to ensure the orderly and effective on-site rescue of emergencies; work together to promote the resolution of historical problems and the active use of idle land, so as to fully reflect the effectiveness, coordination and sharing of high-quality development; establish a communication mechanism, set up a special working class, strengthen the docking between the two sides, improve work efficiency, and make new breakthroughs and achievements in the safe and high-quality development of both sides.

Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou will resolutely implement the new development concept and fully coordinate the problems that need to be solved by Chenzhou in railway construction and operation management. For the problems in railway project construction and operation management that need to be solved by our city, we will actively connect and communicate with each other, open up green channels, actively provide services, make full efforts to ensure new progress and achievements in railway construction, and make new and greater contributions to better serve economic and social development and implement the national strategy.

Wu Yong thanked the Chenzhou Municipal Party committee and the municipal government for their long-term support and assistance to the railway transportation and railway construction of Guangzhou Railway Group, especially for the transfer and treatment of the wounded in the "3.30" accident and the rescue work on site, which were greatly supported and selflessly assisted by the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, the municipal government, all departments at all levels and the people of Chenzhou. Wu Yong said that he fully supported the issues raised by Chenzhou Municipal Party committee and municipal government. Guangzhou Railway Group will carefully classify, research and connect problems, sort out the list of problems, assign special personnel to contact and coordinate, adhere to the principle of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, do a good job in policy docking, and jointly promote problem solving.
