Recently, Chenzhou transportation work teleconference was held. It was proposed at the meeting that a comprehensive demonstration city of urban and rural transportation integration should be established, the modernization of governance system and governance capacity should be promoted, and the construction of a modern comprehensive transportation system featuring connectivity, people's enjoyment of its transportation and material excellence should be accelerated.

In terms of transportation project construction, it is planned to complete the annual investment of the renewed and newly started projects of about 3.28 billion yuan. Two expressways from Linwu (Yizhang) to Lianzhou, Hunan and Guangdong border, Chaling to Changning (including Anren branch) has been constructed, 843 kilometers of new rural roads, three class II (III) bus stations, 10 township transport service stations including Aoshang, Suxian District, 150 rural passenger service stations and 7 bus terminals in Jiahe County have been reconstructed, and two first (second) level bus stations, including Chenzhou West Bus Station (main station), three major transportation and logistics projects, including Yizhang Logistics Center, and two public transport hub stations, including Yashiping, have been newly started. The upgrading and reconstruction project of Suxian section of Leishui channel has been completed, and the upgrading project of Oujiang to Dashuikou channel in Rucheng and the construction of Changyingtou Wharf in Zixing have been promoted. In terms of transportation poverty alleviation, the annual investment plan for transportation infrastructure in four poverty-stricken counties has been completed, and the poverty alleviation and joint point supervision have been carried out.

In 2020, Chenzhou City will carry out the establishment year activity of urban and rural transportation integration demonstration city, expand and consolidate the construction effect of "four good rural roads", and realize the seamless connection of passenger zero distance transfer and freight transportation. We will carry out the annual campaign to deepen the treatment of persistent traffic problems, improve the safety environment along the overrun transportation and railway lines, prohibit ships from sailing with problems, crack down unqualified construction, over qualified contracting projects, illegal subcontracting, irregular construction operations, and illegal carrying of people by construction vehicles; will carry out the annual activity of optimizing the transportation management system, deepen the reform of management, promote the transportation all in one card and online ticketing system, upgrade the 12328 transportation service supervision system and the automobile maintenance electronic health file system, explore the establishment of urban and rural freight logistics information platform, and promote the full coverage of hierarchical video monitoring of passenger ships and ferry terminals; will fight a tough battle to prevent and control pollution in water transportation, implement the supervision system of the joint receipt and transfer of pollutants from ships, build a receiving station for pollutants from ships, and build a LNG filling station on water; will promote new energy vehicles and ships, improve the quality of green ecological roads, and build a number of beautiful rural demonstration roads.

Liu Jianguo, Director of the Transportation Bureau of Chenzhou City, said that this year, 25 households and more than 100 natural villages will be fully "organized" to cement roads, actively overcome difficulties and challenges, and ensure the "three in place" of project progress, quality and safety.
