Recently, Feng Haiyan, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Chenzhou High-tech Zone and Secretary of the Party Committee of Suxian District, led a team to investigate the tourism development of Xihe and Gaoyiling. Feng Haiyan and her party successively came to Lanwangmiao Village of Xujiadong Town, sightseeing platform of Hetou Village of Qifengdu Town, Gangjiao Village Wetland Park, Zhuangmen Village post station and Gaoyiling scenic spot construction site for field investigation, and understood the tourism development status of Xihe River scenery belt and Gaoyiling. Feng Haiyan was full of praise for the beautiful scenery of Xihe River and Gaoyiling, and put forward some guiding opinions on how to carry out the next step of tourism development.

Feng Haiyan stressed that it is necessary to plan tourism layout, organize tourism activities and carry out tourism publicity; to organize personnel to visit other places and learn new tourism business models in other places; to create diversified tourism projects, attract tourists, increase popularity, release consumption restrained by epidemic situation and expand the sale of agricultural and sideline products; to make rational planning around the development and utilization of existing resources for tourism; to give full play to the advantages of ecotourism resources, develop ecotourism, actively cultivate and build a number of farmhouses, and improve the service level of leisure, entertainment and catering industries; to pay attention to the combination of development and ecological protection, implement the development path of "ecology + tourism", actively cultivate and develop the cultural tourism industry, and strive to realize ecological protection and tourism development; to strengthen the scheduling, strengthen the guarantee of project land elements, and accelerate the preliminary work of Gaoyiling scenic spot development project.
