Recently, the Yao Village of Longcun, Meitian Town, Yizhang County signed a cooperation agreement with Guangdong International Trade Investment Co., Ltd. on the project of rural complex and comprehensive practice base of primary and secondary schools, to jointly build the rural complex of Longcun and comprehensive practice base of primary and secondary schools. The total investment of the project is about 3 billion yuan, and the planning covers a total area of 20000 mu, including 14000 mu of agricultural cultivation base and 600 mu of construction land.

Longcun rural complex and primary and secondary school comprehensive practice base project is located in Yaozu Village of Longcun, Meitian Town. It is a complex project integrating agriculture, culture, tourism and education. Based on the relevant areas of the Yao village in Longcun, Meitian town, and planned in a unified way by land circulation, the project integrates agriculture, culture and tourism, education and other related resources, and is driven by agricultural industry and rural tourism to build a modern agricultural industrialization (including sightseeing agriculture, organic vegetable base, agricultural products deep processing base, warehousing logistics industrial park and trading market, etc.), leisure tourism section (including accommodation hotels, health care facilities, etc.), comprehensive practice base (including national defense and military experience education base, patriotism education base, traditional culture and art base, legal system and life safety education base, survival and expansion experience education base, science and technology experience education base, environmental protection experience education base and agricultural practice base) and other multi-functional comprehensive practice bases.

The project is jointly operated by both the Longcun Village Committee and the professional company, and the Longcun Village Committee takes the project transfer land management rights as shares. After the completion of the project, employment opportunities will be provided through sightseeing agriculture, organic vegetable planting, agricultural deep processing and leisure tourism, rural professionals will be trained, innovation and entrepreneurship will be supported, and villagers' income will be increased. At the same time, it will further promote the rural revitalization, industrial development and rural characteristic tourism development of Meitian Town, consolidate and improve the poverty alleviation effect.
