It has stepped up the construction of key schools such as Zhanhui School and Gantian Middle School, made full efforts to promote the project of "adding places and adding staff" in education, and ensured the delivery of Gantian Middle School, Zhanhui School and other projects in autumn.

Affected by the epidemic situation, the construction progress of Gantian Middle School and Zhanhui School was once blocked. In order to speed up the construction progress, the construction unit works in multiple processes at the same time, first builds the framework, and then improves the whole. At present, the project construction party is stepping up the scheduling, by increasing the working surface and the construction team, seizing the fine weather, so as to speed up the project progress.

Zhanhui School, covering an area of 225 mu, is a private school with a 15-year system of kindergartens, primary schools, junior high schools and senior high schools. The construction started on August 19, 2019, and now 40 percent of the total project progress has been completed.

Guiyang County is a county with a large population. In the compulsory education stage, the task of resolving large classes is heavy and the pressure is great. According to the requirements of expanding the increment of educational resources and activating the stock of educational resources, Guiyang County will increase the supply of academic degrees to guarantee the degree needed to eliminate the large classes of compulsory education. From 2018 to now, Guiyang County has invested 1.296 billion yuan in total, increased 20275 degrees, eliminated 1252 large classes of more than 56 people, and the proportion of large classes decreased from 42.61 percent in 2018 to 10.3 percent. This year, the county plans to invest 330 million yuan to launch eight key education projects, including the relocation and construction of Dongfeng Middle School and the reconstruction and expansion of Rongfeng Primary School, which can add 6800 compulsory education degrees, 2750 ordinary high school degrees and 3660 secondary vocational degrees. With the completion and delivery of new schools such as Gantian Middle School, Zhanhui School and Baoling Primary School, the bottleneck of large class of compulsory education will be further solved and the layout of high-quality education resources in Guiyang County will be optimized.
