Improving Family Education to Promote Ideological & Moral Construction of Minors

From May 12 to 13, Li Xuelian, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Municipal Committee and her delegation came to some communities in the city and Guiyang County to investigate the ideological and moral construction of community minors, especially the development of family education.

 

Li Xuelian and her delegation successively went to Feihong Road community, Qingnian Road community, Yangguangyuan community and Guimenling community of Beihu District, family education and guidance center of Life Tree in Guiyang County and Beiguan community of Longtan Street in Guiyang County to learn more about the work of "parents' school", "4:30 class", "home for women and children", and held a symposium.

At the report on the development of the ideological and moral work of the minors in the community, Li Xuelian pointed out that the ideological and moral construction of minors is an important part of the work of creating civilization works in our city, and family education is of great significance to advancing this work. The departments at all levels in the city should conscientiously implement the spirit of the general speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping on family education, and earnestly clarify and implement the responsibility of family education, and strengthen the "four in one" construction of family, school, government and society, so as to form a joint force of family education and minors' ideological and moral construction; should strengthen the construction of talents team of family education and psychological consultation, focus on the development of family education courses and rich activity forms and contents, run a good parent school, and comprehensively improve the level of family education in our city; should seriously carry out special research on the prevention of juvenile delinquency, so as to provide reference for decision-making to solve specific problems.
