On May 19, the first "Mangshan Black Tea · Golden Finger Cup" tea picking skill competition of Yizhang County was held in Heyi Black Tea Base, with 50 people from 10 teams of tea making enterprises in the county participating. Huang Duoyue, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress and Chairman of the County Federation of Trade Unions, attended the event and announced the start of the tea picking competition.

This activity was sponsored by the County Federation of Trade Unions and undertaken by the County Tea Association. The purpose was to promote the exchange of tea farmers, improve the level of tea picking, cultivate tea picking technical experts, improve the quality of tea, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of tea industry inYizhang County.

The activity started with the dance "Let's Dance In The Sun". With the joyful and exciting music, "Don't Want to Leave Mangshan" and other dance programs with regional characteristics of Yizhang County appeared on the stage.

After the opening ceremony, 50 contestants skillfully picked tea in their respective tea picking areas. After 30 minutes of fierce competition, the players got a basket of fresh and tender tea. According to the quantity and quality of picking, the referee group selected one gold finger, two silver fingers and three bronze fingers.

Finally, Deng Fuyue of Hunan Mangshan Yaoyichun Tea Co., Ltd. won the gold finger award of the first "Mangshan Black Tea Gold Finger Cup" tea picking skill competition in Yizhang County.

This activity not only inspired the enthusiasm of tea farmers in learning technology and practicing skills, but also fully demonstrated the spirit and working style of tea enterprises and tea farmers.
