Recently, the investigation group of CPPCC municipal committee came to Guidong County to carry out the investigation activity of "Dongjiang River Basin water environment protection". Luo Qilong, Vice Chairman of CPPCC County Committee, participated in relevant investigation.

The investigation team visited Chunfeng village homestay, Oucai reservoir and other places successively to investigate the current situation of water environment protection in Dongjiang Lake Basin, as well as the remediation of agricultural non-point source pollution and farmhouse pollution in the upper reaches of Dongjiang Lake Basin.

At the investigation meeting, the heads of Water Conservancy Bureau, Cultural Tourism Center, Natural resources Bureau and other units reported on the "water environment protection of Dongjiang River Basin" and other aspects.

The investigation team pointed out that the beautiful mountains and rivers in Guidong, with unique ecological and geographical environment, are the source of the Dongjiang River Basin. We should attach great importance to the protection of water resources and water environment of Dongjiang Lake, make good use of the water resource, develop tourism, agriculture and other industries, achieve sustainable development, continuously improve the quality of ecological environment of water sources, ensure the implementation of water environment protection of Dongjiang Lake, and ensure the water quality safety of Dongjiang River Basin without destroying the ecology.
