Recently, Peng Shengzhi, Secretary of the Guiyang County Party Committee, met with Zhang Xuelin, Vice President of Shanghai Electric Environmental Protection Group, and his delegation, and the two sides held in-depth discussions on matters related to the construction of the cooperation projects. Zhu Yanghui, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Magistrate, presided over the conference.

At the conference, the two sides exchanged views on planning and design, land use permission, construction management, etc. In February this year, Shanghai Electric Environmental Protection Group signed an agreement with Guiyang County on waste lead-acid battery recovery and renewable lead smelting project. The projects are located in the Nonferrous Science and Technology Industrial Park of the County Industrial Park. After being put into operation, 160,000 tons of waste lead-acid batteries can be disposed annually, and 110000 tons of recycled lead can be produced annually.

Peng Shengzhi said that after several rounds of exchanges and discussions, the two sides have reached a consensus on win-win cooperation. They hoped to further strengthen the docking with Shanghai Electric Environmental Protection Group, make substantive progress in land use licensing, restructuring company registration, planning and construction, and make full preparations for the project construction. Relevant departments and towns directly under Guiyang County should strengthen the service awareness, actively build a new type of political business relationship, make good use of the preferential policies during the epidemic prevention and control period, closely cooperate with each other, coordinate and solve the actual difficulties and problems of enterprises, work together to promote the early completion and early effect of the projects, and help promote the high-quality development of Guiyang County.

Zhang Xuelin said that Guiyang County has a good industrial development and investment environment, and the two sides have increased understanding and trust in the contacts. As investors, they are confident in the projects, and hope to further deepen cooperation and increase support in the preliminary work related to the project construction. At the same time, Shanghai Electric Environmental Protection Group will accelerate the smooth implementation of the projects in strict accordance with the requirements of standardization, normalization and intensification.

Before the meeting, Zhang Xuelin and his party also visited Kaidi biomass power generation project.
