Pepper planting base in Jingpo Town

Recently, the pepper planting base in Jingpo Town, Rucheng County has completed the first stage of transplanting pepper seedlings. Under the guidance of Jingpo town government, the base growers signed a purchase and sale agreement with Longping Gaoke and Rucheng Xinli Food Co., Ltd. After ripening, pepper will be repurchased at a guaranteed price not lower than the market price, and the total output value is expected to reach more than 24 million yuan.

The pepper base covers the villages of Gutang, Quanming and Shangyang. The pepper planting area reaches 3000 mu. The mode of "enterprise + cooperative + large household + individual household" is adopted to drive more than 830 surrounding households to participate in the planting, including 320 poor households. During the production period, it can absorb 300 surrounding labors every day and increase the annual income of each poor household by more than 3000 yuan, which will effectively consolidate the poverty alleviation achievements of the town, and lay the industrial foundation for rural revitalization.
