Recently, China Railway poverty alleviation project "Rural Dream Classroom" was officially completed in Shangdong Primary School, Shangdong Village, Oujiang Town, Guidong County, which built a bridge for local children to contact the outside world at a close distance.

Young volunteers from China Railway Bridge Bureau explained the bridge knowledge to children through video link.

In the first long-distance classroom after the completion of the "Rural Dream Classroom", the young volunteers of China Railway Bridge Bureau and the children of Shangdong Primary School made video connection, led the children to visit the Bridge Museum remotely, taught the bridge science popularization knowledge, increased the children's experience, and inspired them to strive for strong will and determination.

"Rural Dream Classroom" project is an educational poverty alleviation project launched by China Railway poverty alleviation working group in Guidong, which aims at rebuilding the abandoned classroom and taking the thought of "Internet+" to build a dream space for free reading, hand painting, dance music, long-distance interactive teaching and collective activities. It also has family videos, online access and other rich multi-functional systems to help poor children better understand the outside world.

Liu Guoqing, member of the Standing Committee of Guidong County Committee of China Railway and Deputy County Head, said that the "Rual Dream Classroom" project will be replicated and promoted as an educational poverty alleviation brand. In the next step, they will connect with more social groups, introduce high-quality resources, carry out regular interaction with local primary schools in Guidong, help children in poor mountainous areas connect with the world outside the mountains, and plug in the wings of dreams.
