Recently, the Office of the Central Committee for the Comprehensive Rule of Law officially publicized the list of the first batch of demonstration areas and projects for the construction of the national government under the rule of law, among which Zixing city is one of the first batch of 40 demonstration cities (counties and districts) for the construction of the national government under the rule of law.

In order to further speed up the construction process of the government under the rule of law in the new era, vigorously cultivate advanced models of the construction of the government under the rule of law, develop with demonstration and promote with creation, form a number of replicable and popularized practices and experiences, set up a benchmark for the construction of the government under the rule of law in the new era, with the approval of the Central Committee for the rule of law and in accordance with the opinions on carrying out the demonstration and creation activities of the construction of the government under the rule of law, the State Office under the rule of law of the central government has deployed to carry out the demonstration and creation activities of the construction of the national government under the rule of law, the first batch of which are mainly for the municipal and county governments since July 2019.

Since the launch of the activity, 1847 municipal and county governments have voluntarily applied, including 469 municipal governments and 1378 county governments. According to the "demonstration index system for the construction of municipal and county governments under the rule of law" and the principles of objectivity, openness, transparency, formalism and effectiveness, after the provincial preliminary trial, the third-party assessment, the people's satisfaction assessment, and the field verification, the Office of the Central Committee for the Comprehensive Rule of Law comprehensively considered the municipal and county governments under the rule of law in accordance with the needs of promoting the construction of regional governments under the rule of law as a whole and identified the first batch of demonstration areas for the construction of national government under the Rule of Law and projects to be named.
