Recently, our city signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Yangtze River Ecological and Environmental Protection Group to jointly promote the construction of Chenzhou national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone. Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Wang Shiping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Yangtze River Ecological Environmental Protection Group, witnessed the signing of the contract and held an exchange discussion.

According to the agreement, the two sides will take urban sewage treatment as the breakthrough point, and carry out investment, construction and operation through the mode of integration of plant, network, river (lake) and shore, sludge and water, resource and energy recovery, and full cycle of construction and maintenance, so as to improve the overall quality of urban water environment in Chenzhou.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that to do a good job in water is always a theme in Chenzhou's development. Chenzhou is closely following the theme of "sustainable utilization of water resources and green development", accelerating the construction of innovative demonstration area of national sustainable development agenda, and exploring Chenzhou mode in the protection of Yangtze River.

Liu Zhiren demanded that we should thoroughly implement the General Secretary Xi Jinping's idea of "protecting the entire Yangtze River in a big way" and adhering to the concept of "ecological priority and green development" to jointly promote the great protection of the Yangtze River. It was hoped that the Yangtze River Ecological Environmental Protection Group will give full play to its advantages in policy, financing, supervision, industry resources, talents and operation management, and participate in the urban water environment management and water ecological construction in Chenzhou.

Liu Zhiren stressed that we should speed up the implementation of relevant projects and achieve results in accordance with the "six ones" mode of "one framework, one team, one work plan, one work plan and one company to create a first-class model of government enterprise cooperation". Departments at all levels should make concerted efforts to create an optimal development environment and a first-class business environment for project construction and operation, and provide the best quality, most convenient and most practical service.

Wang Shiping said that the group will integrate the advantageous resources and strength of the domestic water environment industry, fully participate in the comprehensive water environment management of Chenzhou, provide strong impetus for the sustainable utilization of water resources and green development of Chenzhou, and contribute to the high-quality economic and social development of Chenzhou.
