On the afternoon of July 15, Tang Xu, member of the Party Group and Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Tobacco Group Co., Ltd., and his party went to Guiyang County to investigate and guide tobacco production.

Tang Xu and his party came to Baiyun, unit of Renyi base of Shanghai Tobacco Group Co., Ltd., located in Guiyang County, to check the professional grading, flue-cured tobacco leaf quality and other related conditions. They had a detailed understanding of Jincun and Shibei villages in Guiyang County, including annual tobacco production, professional grading and specialized baking, and discussed how to further improve the usability of tobacco leaves and improve the level of raw material guarantee to ensure farmers' income.

Tang Xu fully affirmed the work done by Guiyang County in tobacco production, grading and curing. He said that it is necessary to take industrial demand as the guidance and maturity as the center, highlight the style and characteristics of Guiyang tobacco leaves, improve the quality and industrial availability of tobacco leaves, and ensure the safety of tobacco leaves; establish an effective communication and coordination mechanism, maintain a healthy and stable relationship between supply and demand of raw materials, and strive to improve the ability of raw material support; further improve tobacco production technology, innovate tobacco production organization mode, and strive to reduce labor and cost, improve quality and efficiency, and promote agricultural income, so as to achieve the four satisfaction of "government, agriculture, industry and commerce".
