Training Class for Calligraphy Art Teachers in Primary & Secondary Schools Held

In order to comprehensively promote the training of calligraphy art teachers in primary and secondary schools of Chenzhou in the new era, and cultivate a group of high-quality professional innovative teachers with noble professional ethics, solid professional foundation, outstanding education and teaching ability and self-development ability, with certain evaluation level, our city held the 2020 training class for calligraphy art teachers in primary and secondary schools in Chenzhou City, and 80 calligraphy art teachers from primary and secondary schools in all counties (cities and districts) participated in the training.

 

The training course, sponsored by the Municipal Education Bureau and undertaken by Xiangnan Kindergarten Teachers College, aimed to comprehensively improve the calligraphy skills and aesthetic level of calligraphy art teachers in primary and secondary schools in our city, improve their calligraphy teaching ability and give full play to the "calligraphy" education role of calligraphy art through expert lectures, experience sharing of famous teachers, and exchange and discussion of students' practical operation.

Interaction between teachers and calligraphy experts

 

During the training period, Cao Hui, member of China Calligraphers Association and Chairman of Municipal Calligraphers Association, and He Zongguo, member of China Calligraphers Association, respectively gave lectures on calligraphy appreciation and Chinese culture, teaching of precise copying and creation of official script, and teaching of accurate copying and creation of running cursive script, so that the teachers attending the training could learn more about calligraphy art theory and professional skills knowledge, and improve their professional ability and teaching level.

 

"In the course of this training, I learned a lot of professional knowledge from these experts, which not only broadened my horizons, but also greatly improved my calligraphy theory and practice. After I go back, I will teach all the contents I have learned to my students." Teachers who attended the training told reporters.
