Recently, the Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industry Development Promotion Center of Zixing City was officially established. It was the first county-level official department level unit specially established for the development of big data industry in Hunan Province.

At the forum, they highly recognized the green and energy-saving advantages of Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park to build the country's greenest environmental protection and energy-saving big data industrial base, studied and deployed how to further improve the park's big data industry development planning, promote project construction, introduce leading enterprises of big data industry, and promote publicity and promotion.

Dongjiang Lake can provide 1.5 billion cubic meters of clean cold water at 8-13 ℃ for the data center of the park every year. The pue value is lower than 1.16, and the annual power consumption can be reduced by 5 billion kwh, equivalent to 1.78 million tons of standard coal. Relying on the unrepeatable cold water resources, unique geographical advantages, excellent ecological environment and stable geographical conditions, Zixing City plans to cover an area of 3000 mu, with a total investment of 50 billion yuan. The park's big data center plans to have 200000 racks, introduce more than 1000 enterprises such as data research and application trading, software design, e-commerce headquarters, service outsourcing, end product manufacturing, etc., and create 15000 new jobs, striving to build the world's most energy-saving green big data industry demonstration base, national government cloud base and "South China Green Data Valley". The development of the park is highly concerned. It was officially incorporated into the provincial development strategy in 2019, and was approved as the provincial big data industrial park, the provincial new industrialization (big data) demonstration base, and the provincial E-government external network unified cloud platform data disaster recovery base. It was also the only provincial-level big data industrial park with project support funds up to 60 million yuan.

At present, there are more than 50 projects in Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park, with a total investment of more than 3 billion yuan. Among them, Technology Upon Nature, China Mobile, China Unicom, Eason Technology and other data centers under construction have reached 22000 racks, and 3000 standard racks with pue value of 1.15, the first in China and the world's leading in green energy conservation have been built. Alibaba and other domestic Internet giants have also arranged related projects in the park. It was estimated that by 2025, the output value of the park will exceed 20 billion yuan and 80000 racks will be built, and a large-scale demonstration park for big data industry development with complete functional facilities and obvious demonstration effect will be initially formed.
