Guidong County Media Convergence Center Officially Launched

2020-08-21

On the morning of August 18, Guidong County held the launching ceremony of Media Convergence Center and the launching of "Happy Guidong" App. This was an important milestone in the development of news and publicity in Guidong County, marking a new stage of "integration and development".

On November 14, 2019, Guidong County Convergence Media Center was officially established. At present, relying on the provincial technology platform of "New Hunan Cloud", the center has reconstructed the business processes of "policy, acquisition, compilation, review, development, management, and efficiency" to realize the deep integration of news elements. Through the command and dispatch center, the whole closed-loop business process of Convergence Media from topic selection planning, interview and report, editing and processing, content distribution and dissemination tracking can be completed.

"Happy Guidong" App is based on Hunan Daily's "New Hunan Cloud" provincial technology platform. It is operated and managed by the County Convergence Media Center, including news, government affairs, commerce, affairs, services, etc., covering local news, domestic and foreign information, Party building, county situation, culture, tourism, audio-visual live broadcast, civilized practice, convenient service, people's livelihood online, etc., which is an "aircraft carrier" for information dissemination and an authoritative official media for promoting Guidong in an all-round way. "Media + government affairs", "media + business", "media + affairs" and "media + service" will make "Happy Guidong" APP a "service window on the fingertips" of the masses.

At the launching ceremony, the invited guests listened to the basic information of the Convergence Media Center, and made video connection with reporters who went out to interview, and put forward suggestions on the future development and construction of the County Convergence Media Center.
