In order to further develop and strengthen the team of voluntary blood donation volunteers in Chenzhou City and improve the level of voluntary blood donation service, the primary training class of voluntary blood donation volunteers in 2020 was opened in the central blood station recently.

In addition to the volunteers from Chenzhou volunteer service team, volunteers from Beihu Volunteer Association, hematopoietic stem cell donors, and volunteers from Chenzhou No.2 Middle School and Chenzhou No.3 Middle School participated in the training.

In the training class, Shi aijuan, deputy head of the central blood station, gave lectures to the volunteers, explaining the contents and forms of voluntary blood donation service, the conditions and knowledge that voluntary blood donation volunteers should have. Li Chen, Secretary General of Chenzhou volunteer service team for blood donation, introduced the development and registration process of the service team, and Li Hongjian, head of the blood collection department of the central blood station, introduced the development of the blood station and the key points of volunteer recruitment of blood donors.

It was reported that the Chenzhou volunteer service team for blood donation was established in 2008. It is mainly composed of voluntary blood donors and caring people from all walks of life who are enthusiastic about the cause of voluntary blood donation. They provide voluntary service for the work of blood donation. Many of them have donated more than 10000 ml of blood without compensation. Up to now, nearly 350 people have won the honor of star level volunteer of voluntary blood donation in China.
