On October 23, our city announced the first batch of 27 demonstration elderly care service institutions (centers), including 9 private pension institutions, 9 poverty-stricken support service institutions and 9 community home-based elderly care service centers.

The 27 demonstration elderly care service institutions (centers) have complete facilities and equipment, which are designed and customized for the elderly. They are equipped with safety protection measures such as anti-skid, emergency call, sanitation and disinfection, which are adapted to the service functions. At the same time, they also have entertainment rooms, restaurants, TV rooms, fitness and rehabilitation rooms, etc., which provide entertainment, emergency, cleaning, meals, medicine, bath, etc. They provide 24-hour daily nursing care for the elderly, help the elderly carry out relevant rehabilitation activities, and make the elderly live a regular life and ensure their health. At the same time, some elderly care service institutions (centers) provide personalized and standardized "one person, one file" butler care for the elderly, and real-time 24-hour video monitoring, so that the elderly can live more comfortably and their children can rest assured.

The first batch of demonstration elderly care service institutions (centers) are determined by the third-party evaluation institutions on the basis of the self-assessment and declaration of each county (city, district) according to the classification and evaluation standards of relevant pension institutions. These demonstration elderly care service institutions (centers) will play an important role in the demonstration, guidance and exchange and mutual learning.
