Recently, the 4th Golden Flower Chrysanthemum Health Culture Festival and Industry Poverty Alleviation Achievement Exhibition opened in Aoshang Town of Suxian District.

The festival aimed to show the achievements of poverty alleviation in the industry. By means of chrysanthemum appreciation, chrysanthemum picking, chrysanthemum tasting and art performance, the festival could effectively stimulate the development of chrysanthemum planting and characteristic tourism in Aoshang Town, and promote the income growth of local residents by combining with the local agricultural products exhibition and sales.

In 2016, Aoshang Town introduced chrysanthemum planting and processing of Chenzhou Gaoduo Gaoshan Chrysanthemum Industry Co., Ltd. Through land transfer, Gaoduo Company has planted nearly 700 mu of Chrysanthemum in Tianzidi Village, provided seedlings and planting technical support to farmers in the village, developed farmers in the village to carry out individual planting of nearly 1000 mu, and increased local farmers' income by 6000-7000 yuan per mu. In addition, Gaoduo Company has also provided jobs in Chrysanthemum processing plant to villagers, which can increase the income of villagers by nearly 10000 yuan per year.
