On the afternoon of November 18, the Yangtze River Ecological Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd. came to our city to investigate the cooperation in ecological and environmental protection. Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Chen Xianming, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Changjiang Ecological Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd., attended the forum.

At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of Yangtze River Ecological Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd. introduced the PPP project of comprehensive water environment treatment in central urban area and the ecological environment oriented urban development (EOD) mode. The two sides exchanged and discussed the cooperation issues in the project.

Liu Zhiren expressed his gratitude to the Yangtze River Ecological Protection Group for its concern and support for Chenzhou's ecological construction. Liu Zhiren said that the municipal Party committee and the municipal government have always attached great importance to the construction of ecological civilization, but there are still some problems and deficiencies in their work. All departments at all levels should unify their thoughts to the idea of ecological civilization, and unify them to the spirit of the fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and unite to the spirit of important speech on the great protection of the Yangtze River. We should strengthen the docking and provide the best business environment for the development of enterprises in Chenzhou; to plan scientifically and construct by stages; to set up a working group as soon as possible, formulate a work plan, clarify the responsible leaders and persons, and establish a joint meeting; do a good job in the preliminary work of the project and strengthen the submission of materials.

Chen Xianming, member of the Party committee and Deputy General Manager of the Yangtze River Ecological Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd., said that the group will give full play to its advantages and make every effort to promote the implementation of cooperation projects as soon as possible. They hoped that the project could be established as soon as possible and the working methods of Chenzhou will be innovated as soon as possible.
