Recently, the list of winners of the "Ideological and Political Teaching Design Competition for Political and Legal Professional Courses" held by the State Open University has been announced. Teacher Huang Jianghong's work "Constitutional Law - Who Will Defend Your Rights" won the second prize in the competition.

It was reported that the competition is an important measure for the implementation of the National Open University system to carry out the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the National Education Conference and the National University Ideological and Political Work Conference. In order to mobilize the majority of teachers to actively participate in the competition, the Provincial Radio and TV University held the preliminary selection of the ideological and political teaching design competition of open education courses in the province in the early stage. The Municipal Education Bureau and Chenzhou Radio and TV University has attached great importance to promoting teaching and research by competition, actively publicized and launched, and organized teachers to seriously write cases in combination with teaching practice. A total of 384 works from 36 branches and 4 colleges of the open university system were received, including 169 works for law major. The evaluation was carried out from five aspects, including teaching objectives, content process, methods and strategies, and innovation characteristics. After strict evaluation by the competition expert evaluation committee according to the procedures and requirements, the law major was awarded 7 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 21 third prizes and 28 excellent awards.

In the future, under the guidance and support of the Municipal Bureau of Education, Chenzhou Radio and TV University will further sum up experience and make persistent efforts to further promote the implementation and innovation research of ideological and political teaching in open education courses, give full play to the role of the "main force" of the teaching staff, the "main battlefield" of curriculum construction, the "main channel" and "main position" of classroom teaching, so as to improve the ability of education, teaching and ideological and political education mission, and implementate the fundamental task of "moral education".
