At the meeting, the city's tobacco work report was heard and the tobacco work in 2021 was deployed. In 2021, the target task of tobacco production in the city is to complete the planting area of 410,500 mu, purchase 1.02 million tons of tobacco, and promote the high-quality development of "coordinated and balanced supply and demand, high-quality and efficient supply, and industrial integration development".

At the meeting, the main responsible persons of Chenzhou Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, Guiyang County Government and Linwu county government made speeches, read out the "Circular on commending excellent units and advanced individuals in tobacco work of the whole city in 2020" and "Circular on commending excellent professional tobacco farmers of the whole city in 2020", and presented awards to the representatives of excellent professional tobacco farmers.
