With the approval of the provincial government, on December 14, 2020, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Department of Commerce jointly approved the establishment of "Hunan (Shazhou) Red Culture and Tourism Characteristic Industrial Park".

On February 2, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission organized a joint review meeting on the development planning of Hunan (Shazhou) Red Culture and Tourism Characteristic Industrial Park to conduct a high-level review on the development planning of Hunan (Shazhou) Red Culture and Tourism Characteristic Industrial Park. The Provincial Government Counselor's Office, Provincial Academy of Social Sciences and other provincial well-known experts, leaders of relevant departments directly under the provincial government, leaders of relevant departments directly under the municipal government, and relevant persons in charge of Rucheng County attended the review meeting.

At the meeting, the special class of Chenzhou Shazhou regional planning and development introduced the development planning of Hunan (Shazhou) Red Culture and Tourism Characteristic Industrial Park, and Chenzhou Planning and Design Institute reported the development planning of Hunan (Shazhou) Red Culture and Tourism Characteristic Industrial Park (review draft). The expert group carefully reviewed the contents of the plan and expressed their opinions and suggestions one by one. They all agreed that the basic research work of the plan is solid, the concept is advanced, the content is perfect, and the measures are effective, covering the development foundation, development goals, functional positioning, development strategy, industrial layout and other aspects, which can effectively guide the development and construction of Hunan (Shazhou) Red Culture and Tourism Characteristic Industrial Park.

The pertinent opinions of the experts and department leaders present at the meeting have good guidance and reference significance for improving the planning. In the next step, Chenzhou Planning and Design Institute will seriously study and absorb the valuable opinions and suggestions under the guidance of Shazhou working class, so as to further improve the planning scheme and complete the planning results.
