Recently, the general office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the general office of the Development and Reform Commission, the general office of the Ministry of Commerce, the office of the State Administration, the general office of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, and the comprehensive Department of the Energy Bureau officially issued a document, and Dongjiang Lake Big Data Center of our city officially won the title of "2020 National Green Data Center". This is the first time that Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park has officially won the national award after winning the big data center of Hunan Province and the new industrialization demonstration zone of Hunan Province, and has officially become one of the 60 national green data centers in 2020. Dongjiang Lake Big Data Center is located in the beautiful Zixing City. Its high-quality cold water resources are unique advantages and support for the development of big data industry. Dongjiang Lake covers an area of 160 square kilometers, with water storage of 8.12 billion cubic meters. It releases at least 1.5 billion cubic meters of clean cold water below 13 ℃ every year as the cold source of the data center. According to the minimum ecological flow value of 40 cubic meters per second, the park covers a total area of 3000 mu, with a total investment of 50 billion yuan, 200000 rack data centers and more than 1000 enterprises engaged in data research and application trading, software design and end product manufacturing, providing 15000 jobs.

200000 racks operate at full load, saving 5 billion kwh of electricity annually, equivalent to 1.77 million tons of standard coal, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 5.52 million tons. Since its operation in June 2017, Dongjiang Lake Big Data Center, relying on the advantages of direct supply of low-temperature lake water and all natural cooling, has adopted Dongjiang Lake cold water as the cooling source of the server all the year round. During this period, it has not started a backup chilled water refrigeration unit. The construction cost and power consumption of the refrigeration project are far lower than the traditional cooling method, which has the double advantages of high cost performance and high reliability.
