Recently, Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, paid a visit to some retired leaders to thank them for their contribution to the high-quality development of Chenzhou, and extended new year's blessings and greetings to them. 

Yi Pengfei flew to Long Dingding, Wang Zhenxin, Liu Xiange and Yi Changqian's home to have a cordial talk with them and ask them about their living and physical conditions with concern. At Long Dingding's home, Yi Pengfei also awarded him the honorary certificates of "Advanced Individual of National Retired Cadres" and "The Most Beautiful Inheritance Star".

On behalf of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, Yi Pengfei expressed his gratitude to the old leaders for their contributions to the economic and social development of Chenzhou during their tenure and for their care and support for the economic and social development of Chenzhou after retirement. Yi Pengfei said that 2020 is an extraordinary year and a year of happy events. The whole city resolutely implemented the directive spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Hunan, Chenzhou, and the important speech of Shazhou Village, worked together to fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic situation, promoted resumption of work and resuming production, worked hard to fight the "three major battle" and do a solid job of "six stability" and "six guarantees" to make steady economic and social development.

2021 is the beginning year of 14th Five-Year, and it is also China's 100th anniversary founding party. The whole city will adhere to Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics as the guideline, grasp the new development stage, implement the new development concept, integrate into the new development pattern, implement the spirit of the Party in the fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, closely focus on the strategic plan of the "three high four new" of the provincial Party committee and the new concept of the municipal Party committee. Based on the strategy of "sustainable development" and the positioning of "one pole and four districts", the whole city would grasp the opportunities and advantages, recognize the situation and problems, do a good job one by one, solve the problems one by one, and strive to create a new situation of high-quality development in Chenzhou in accordance with the development blueprint of the 14th Five-year Plan, and present our outstanding achievements to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party.
