On February 23, Bank of Communications Chenzhou Pilot Free Trade Zone sub branch was officially inaugurated. It was also the first financial institution network named "free trade zone sub branch" in Chenzhou area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone. It is a new attempt for Bank of Communications to actively integrate into the construction of Chenzhou area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and actively assist the transformation and development of local economy.

Since Bank of Communications entered Chenzhou High-tech Zone in 2013, it has actively served the economic and social development of Chenzhou High-tech Zone. By the end of 2020, the deposit balance of Chenzhou Branch of Bank of Communications has reached more than 5 billion yuan, and nearly 4.8 billion yuan has been granted loans and various kinds of financing.

Chenzhou area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone has focused on the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, creating an important platform for inland undertaking industrial transfer and processing trade transformation and upgrading, as well as a Hunan, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Cooperation Demonstration Zone. The person in charge of Chenzhou Branch of Bank of Communications said that according to the economic and social development characteristics of the Pilot Free Trade Zone, the branch of Bank of Communications will give full play to its own advantages, serve the Pilot Free Trade Zone, enterprises and residents, actively create a high-quality service brand and establish a good market image with rich products, high-quality services, flexible mechanism and standardized operation. It will make due contributions to the leapfrog and take-off of Chenzhou area of Chenzhou social and economic development and free trade pilot zone.
