On March 3, the reporter learned from the "Opinions on promoting the research and practice of primary and secondary school students" (hereinafter referred to as the "opinions") issued by the Municipal Education Bureau in conjunction with several departments that in order to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, comprehensively promote quality education, and improve the sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit and practical ability of primary and secondary school students, our city will incorporate the research and learning practice into the education and teaching plan of primary and secondary schools, and will choose and identify a number of research and learning institutions and practice base (camp).
Research and learning practice is an off campus educational activity, which is organized and arranged by the education department and the school in a planned way, aiming at cultivating the life skills, collective concept, innovative spirit and practical ability of primary and secondary school students, and carried out by means of collective travel and centralized accommodation. It is an innovative form of the connection between school education and off campus education, also an important content of education and an effective way of comprehensive practice education.
According to the opinions, all primary and secondary schools should integrate research and practice into school education and teaching plans, carefully design research and practice activity plans and programs, and flexibly arrange research and practice time. In principle, research and practice of primary and secondary school students should be arranged in the fourth to eighth grades of compulsory education and the first and second grades of senior high school, no more than 2 times in each academic year, no more than 3 days in primary school, no more than 4 days in junior high school and no more than 5 days in senior high school.
At the same time, it is necessary to gradually establish a curriculum system of different levels and types of research and learning practice activities based on the local conditions in primary schools, county and city conditions in junior middle schools, and provincial and national conditions in senior middle schools. The results of students' participation in research and learning practice activities should be included in the comprehensive quality evaluation and recorded in the students' comprehensive quality evaluation files. In addition, a number of demonstrative theme lines will be built to gradually form a research and learning practice network with reasonable layout and interconnection.
